So excited to be engaged!! It's been 4 years in the making now. I just wish his sister, mom, gma and dad were still around to witness the event. His sister would have loved to help out and be there by our side. Unfortunately she lost her battle against breast cancer last year at the age of 38. His parents died when he was very young and his gma just had a stroke earlier this year and is still unresponsive. I just wish I could have met his parents and could have had more time with his remaining family. I know they would have loved to be here and it would have made the day all that more special for him. It's all so tragic that he's lost everyone, but just shows what a strong, amazing man he is and makes me love him all the more.

Me (Jose) and my baby Elia have a very simple but unique lifestyle. We decided to move in together June 4, 2006. We felt so ready to start our own life, however, we did things the wrong way. I wish that the day she moved in with me was because we got married the weekend before. We wanted to do things right but we were just about to graduate from high school and there was no way we could afford a wedding since we didnt work and our parents were not going to approve of it because we were 17 years old. Therefore, we talked and talked for weeks and decided we just wanted to live together because we love eachother so much that it was impossible to go a day by without seeing eachother. So we moved in to my house where we currently live right now. We live with my parents, my sister and my brother. Eventhough we only have a little room we sleep on we consider it our house! we live so happy together. After high school i went straight to work and i encouraged her to continue her education and go to college... she did go and graduated January 2008 from San Joaquin Valley College with her Associates in Science for Business Administration..she is so smart. Now she has a job at a welding company where she is the secretary and is getting her bail agent license to become a bail agent for a bail bonds company which is owned by the same person who owns the welding place she works at. i know she will succeed and so now i am going back to school to be a police officer. she is so supportive and encouraged me like i did to her to go back to school. we are working so hard to get a house and have our wedding but you know how that is. we are two young people who think very different from people our age. We have a very simple lifestyle and we dont have many things that we wish we did but with the little we have.. we are still extremely inlove and so happy!!! we honestly have a perfect relationship. i wish i could give her her dream wedding. i have tried so many times to make it happen but economically its impossible. she tells me that we should just go get married at any wedding chappel dressed like whatevers.. but no i cant do that, thats not the right way, plus i want her to live at her own house after we get married. therefore, i am trying so hard to get her this perfect wedding that kiis fm is offering everyone. hope we get it! but good luck to everyone.

Habia una joven muy rica, que tenia todo: un marido maravilloso, hijos perfectos, un empleo donde le pagaban muy bien, una familia unida.
Lo extraño es que ella no conseguia conciliar todo eso, el trabajo y los quehaceres le ocupaban todo su tiempo y su vida estaba mal en algunas áreas. Si el trabajo consumia mucho tiempo, abandonaba a sus hijos, si surgia algun problema, ella dejaba de lado a su marido... Y asi, las personas que ella amaba eran siempre dejadas para despues,

If you were around 2003 it sounds just like the one written back then after that legendary fire sale. The recent letter touts the sigining of prospects and talks about the future. But if you remember the 2003 letter you remember the touting of obtaining Brandon Claussen, who's in the Nationals minor league system last time I looked. The point is that you can't primarily depend on prospects.
If the Reds are going to go the cheap route, it might take five to six years of losing. And I am not talking about growing pains where Johnny Cueto throws a cookie on a 0-2 count. I'm talking about 5-6 years of losing and stockpiling minor league talent. This is the Tampa Bay and Colorado route. By the way, how are those Rockies doing this year?
It is disturbing to hear GM Jocketty talk about the weak free agent market. This does not bode well for the 2009 Reds. But I question his evaluation. It just seems like a smoke screen for the team to not spend money. There are guys on the list that can help this team win. (Free agent list.) Certainly, you can sign a Pudge Rodriguez as a catcher for a short period until a Devin Mesoraco is ready. Of course, if the Reds were serious about 2009, they sign Mark Teixeira to play first base and move Joey Votto to left field. Talk about fantasy baseball.
So how did the Cubs go from 66 wins in 2006 to 85 wins in 2007? They spent money.They signed sure things like Soriano, to taking big risks by signing Marquis and Lilly.. They get Lou Piniella to lead the team. If the top team in your division does what it takes to win, shouldn't your Cincinnati Reds at least try to keep up?
I propose a balanced route. Have a good farm system. Trade well. And have a competitive payroll to fill gaps. The Reds have tried the building from within. They tried it in the late nineties and in 2003. It didn't work then and it may not work four years from now.

this was one amazing night for ecw...esp. the first match!
it was a six man tag match. in one corner, there was john morrison, the miz and chavo. in the other corner, there was evan bourne, super crazy and tommy dreamer. john morrison and super crazy started the match. the match gets really good at the end. this quad cities crowd was really into it! there was exchange in tags, and when tommy dreamer was tagged in, he took out all three of his opponents! they were all three thrown out of the ring. super crazy flew out onto miz and morrison. then evan does like a back flip off the turnbuckle onto all of them. the crowd goes wild, chanting "ECW! ECW! ECW!!" it gave me chills. unfortunately, tommy gets a neckbreaker off the ropes and a three count from the miz.
a new superstar goes up against ricky ortiz. his name is gavin spears. i think that we will be seeing a lot more of gavin. i dont think ricky's towel idea is really going to work, but he id getting a good reaction from the fans. the match ends with ortiz getting in the the big O!
finlay comes out next with hornswoggle. he calls out mike knox. mike comes out but will not get in the ring. finlay goes after him and they have a brawl outside the ring and up the ramp. it was a great setup for a feud!!!!
the nights last match is a summerslam rematch with mark henry and matt hardy for the ecw championship. matt starts off working on marks leg. in most of the match, matt was not doing so good. mark had the bear hug on matt, which matt was able to slide out of and kick mark in the stomach. matt got in the twist of fate, but only got a two count. tony pulls matt out again. mark got in the worlds strongest slam and the win.
other than matt losing again, it was a great show! what did u think?

Anyone who thought the Bengals were standing for character was conned. Those of you who felt that way are mad. You got sucked in. PLEASE !
When did the NFL stand for character ?
Do they all of a sudden stand for character because a former PR man is putting his foot down on the Pacman's of the world ?
The NFL is about making $$$$$$.
They don't care about players.
They don't care about the old former players.
Players are a resource. Use them up and get another one.
Look at all the old football players who have problems. Lots of good guys like former Bengal Reggie Williams.
Because they feel desperate, they believe they need Slim to win. They meaning Mike.
Mike WANTS Henry back because that's the only way he seems to know how to win.
Such a smart man who isn't smart when it comes to the draft. If he never drafted Henry, he wouldn't bring him back to win. And he wants to win. Trust me !
Second of all I WOULD NEVER HAVE DRAFTED CHRIS HENRY. NEVER NEVER NEVER.
If I ran a team, I'd hire a few MIT or Harvard grads who were geeks and loved football, and they would do background checks of everyone who might be drafted. I'd be having lists put together like crazy. It's something you do year round.
So you say NEXT when a player has a red flag. Big deal. Move on.
I WOULD TOUCH NO ONE THAT HAD A CHARACTER PROBLEM. COACHES CAN BE IDIOTS. GM'S ALSO. THEY HAVE TO HAVE A GUY. EXCUSE ME ? WHAT ABOUT THE NEXT GUY WHO HAS CHARACTER. Is the next guy on your list that bad ?
To me this is as ridiculous as a team taking a catcher in the first round when the next pitcher might be 3 or 4 down on your list. How bad is that pitcher ? Is it a stretch ?? And how often does the guy 5 slots down in the same round turn out better because a draft is a crapshoot.
Draft pitching in baseball early and often.
Why wouldn't you send Mario Soto out to look at some of the pitchers before you drafted them ?
Sports is life. It's common sense. AND THE CINCY TEAMS DON'T HAVE ENOUGH OF THAT.
Draft characters who can play. So, they are three to five slots down on your list. Who can you count on more ????
Do that and pick the right players AND things change in Cincy. This ain't brain surgery.
So, all the comments about Chris Henry coming back never would happen with me in charge. He would never have gotten one of my chinstrips.
I laughed when I heard Mike was taking Chris back. WHY WOULD ANYONE BE SURPRISED. MIKE HAS DONE THE SAME THING FOR YEARS. He wants to win, and he's a smart guy who won't change.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
